Telecom operator Airtel became the first company in India to achieve 20 crore mobile users when it crossed the mark in 2014. India's largest mobile operator got its permit for mobile telephony in 1994 and launched the services under 'Airtel' brand name in 1995. Airtel was founded by businessman Sunil Bharti Mittal, who was born on October 23, 1957.
