A variety of tulips in the Keukenhof Gardens in the Netherlands were named after actress Aishwarya Rai in 2005. The Netherlands government said the tulips were a celebration of her beauty. Before becoming an actress, Aishwarya became known widely after winning the 'Miss World' pageant in 1994. Aishwarya celebrated her 43rd birthday on November 1, 2016.
