NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar criticised Maharashtra deputy CM Ajit Pawar's "vote or no funds" remark, calling it inappropriate to seek votes through financial promises. He added that government's aid for rain and flood-hit farmers was also inadequate. Ajit Pawar had told Baramati voters he'd provide funds only if they supported his party's candidates in the campaign earlier this week.
