Akal Takht, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) have strongly condemned the Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill proposed by the Centre. SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami has announced to oppose this move in collaboration with the Shiromani Akali Dal. Sukhbir Singh Badal has called a core committee meeting at the party headquarters in Chandigarh to prepare a decisive response.
