Akhilesh Yadav was unanimously re-elected as Samajwadi Party's National President for five years on Thursday, during the party's national convention in Agra. During the meet, the party's Constitution was also amended to extend the chief's tenure from the existing three years to five years. SP's former National President and Akhilesh's father Mulayam Singh Yadav did not attend the convention.
