Akhilesh Yadav's stepbrother Prateek Yadav left the ICU against medical advice on May 1, twelve days before he died, the doctor who was treating Prateek for the last five years revealed. Prateek died due to cardiorespiratory collapse caused by massive pulmonary thromboembolism. He was diagnosed with Deep Vein Thrombosis five years ago.
