'The Kashmir Files' producer Abhishek Agarwal has revealed that actor Akshay Kumar was never approached for the film. He further said neither he nor director Vivek Agnihotri thought about the commercial aspect of the film, adding that the cast features performers and not stars. "Vivek was...very specific so we brought Darshan (Kumaar) on board [to portray Krishna Pandit]," Abhishek added.
