Al-made fake faces look more trustworthy than real faces: Study

A study by Lancaster University suggested that AI-generated fake faces can look more trustworthy than real human faces. Real faces were consistently rated as the least trustworthy, scoring 4.03 on a scale from one to seven, with seven representing the highest level of trustworthiness. Faces generated by newer AI models were rated as more trustworthy despite being less realistic.
