A jihadi group attack in northern Burkina Faso in West Africa killed over 100 people, mostly soldiers, according to an aid worker and residents. The attack targeted multiple locations, including a military base and the strategic town of Djibo. A jihadi group aligned with Al-Qaeda known as Jama'at Nasr al-Islam wal-Muslimin (JNIM) claimed responsibility for the attack.
