South African cricketer Albie Morkel set the record of playing the highest number of T20 matches when he played his 268th T20 match on Thursday, representing Delhi Daredevils against Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. Morkel is followed by West Indies' Kieron Pollard (267 matches), Australia's David Hussey (243) and Netherland's Ryan ten Doeschate (240).
