AliExpress accused of using hidden audio to track user devices

AliExpress was using hidden Web Audio processes to collect device information for browser fingerprinting, after a user noticed interference with Bluetooth headphones, Brave browser claimed. The scripts generated silent audio and measured how devices processed it, along with details like hardware and screen settings. Brave said its browser blocks the technique as part of its privacy protections.
