Chinese online retail giant Alibaba on Wednesday unveiled its first smart car Roewe RX5 in Hangzhou. Jointly developed with automaker SAIC Motor Corp and launching in August this year, the SUV runs on YunOS and suggests alternate routes in case of road closures or traffic. Alibaba's CTO Wang Jian said, "You'll quickly see driverless car technology resulting from this platform."
