British firm Hays Travel said it will buy all 555 UK travel agent shops of the world's oldest travel company Thomas Cook, potentially saving up to 2,500 jobs. Thomas Cook, founded in 1841, collapsed last month and its UK business went into liquidation. Hays Travel said it already recruited 421 former Thomas Cook employees since its collapse.
