The Centre has decided to cover all citizens aged 70 and above under the health insurance scheme Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced on Wednesday. Under this scheme, all the senior citizens aged over 70 will get free health cover of ₹5 lakh, he added.
