All the states except Jharkhand and three UTs with a Legislative Assembly (Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir and Puducherry) have accepted Centre's Option-1 to meet the revenue shortfall arising out of GST implementation. Chhattisgarh on Thursday became the last state to accept Centre's formula on compensation settlement. Centre has borrowed ₹30,000 crore on behalf of the states in five instalments.
