After a video showed police in Gujarat's Kheda publically caning men, Congress leader P Chidambaram on Thursday said, "First, bulldozing. Now, flogging. All that remains is hanging." The men who were being caned had allegedly pelted stones at a garba event. "In UP, Assam and now in Gujarat, the state police has become Judge, Jury and Hangman," he added.
