Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday announced that GST on all used vehicles, including electric vehicles (EVs), will increase from 12% to 18%. The rate will apply to the seller's margin, meaning the difference between the purchase and selling prices. She further stated that no GST will be applicable on used EVs when sold among individuals.
