The mere use of the term 'physical relations' without supporting evidence is insufficient to establish rape or aggravated penetrative sexual assault, the Delhi High Court ruled. The court said this while acquitting a man who was earlier convicted in a POCSO case. The victim had accused the man of establishing physical relations with her on the false pretext of marriage.
