Almonds help lower cholesterol and waist size: Study

A new 2025 study in Nutrition Research finds that eating almonds daily can lower LDL-C, reduce gut inflammation, and improve waist size in people with metabolic syndrome. Almond eaters also had higher vitamin E levels and better overall nutrient intake without gaining weight making almonds a heart- and gut-friendly snack option.
