Alphabet fuelled over one-third of India's FDI inflows in 2025: UN

India's foreign direct investment (FDI) rose 44% to $39 billion in 2025, with Google-parent Alphabet accounting for over one-third of the inflows, UN Trade and Development said. Alphabet invested $14.5 billion in a data centre, followed by Poland's Hynfra's $4 billion green hydrogen investment. India attracted 8% of global investment related to AI infrastructure and technologies during 2025.
