When asked about IAF's capability to conduct strikes similar to Israel's operations against its enemies, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh said, "We already have, in Balakot." He said a combination of air defence weapon systems, those which IAF has and ones being procured, would be competent to protect India from missiles. However, numbers need to be ramped up, he stressed.
