Alstom Transport India has received the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for the rolling stock contract ARE04A under Phase 2 of the Chennai Metro project. As part of this agreement, Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) will deploy 96 coaches, forming 32 trains. Each train will consist of three cars arranged in a DMC+TC+DMC configuration.
