Supreme Court, in its order clubbing all cases against Alt News Co-founder Mohammed Zubair, said, "He is trapped in a vicious cycle of the criminal process where the process has itself become the punishment." It added that the machinery of criminal justice has been relentlessly employed against the petitioner. Zubair was arrested on June 27 for allegedly hurting religious sentiments.
