FADA President CS Vigneshwar said vehicles using alternative fuels such as EVs, CNG and hybrids accounted for about 36% of India's auto sales. He said EV adoption reached over 65% in three-wheelers and around 10% in two-wheelers. He added overall vehicle sales grew about 13.3%, supported by rural demand, credit availability and new product launches.
