Maruti Suzuki Alto emerged as the largest selling car in 2015, with nearly 2.50 lakh units sold between January-November. In October, the model became the best-selling car in India, with over 29 lakh units sold since the car's launch in 2000. Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire was second in the list, followed by the company's Swift, WagonR models and Hyundai i20.
