Aluminum prices surge to 4-year high on Middle East supply fears

Aluminum prices surged toward a four-year high, jumping 2% to $3,329 per ton, driven by supply chain disruptions from the US-Iran conflict. Spot prices have climbed over 9% since the fighting began. ING warned Europe is highly exposed due to its reliance on Gulf imports. Century Aluminium shares soared 7% on the news, while Kaiser Aluminum hit an all-time high.
