Log 9 Materials, an advanced battery tech and deeptech startup, said on Monday it has raised $8.5 million in a funding round. Amara Raja Batteries, which owns the Amaron battery brand, has agreed to acquire an 11.36% stake in Log 9 for $5 million, the startup said. The remaining $3.5 million has been raised by new and existing investors.
