Amateur astronomer discovers a new spot on Jupiter

Amateur astronomer Clyde Foster from South Africa has discovered a new spot on Jupiter's cloud surface while imaging the planet with his telescope. The spot wasn't visible in images captured just hours earlier by Australian astronomers. Two days later, NASA's Juno performed its 27th close flyby of Jupiter and obtained a detailed view of the feature, informally called "Clyde's Spot."
