US Vice-President JD Vance, who is on his first official visit to India, said on Tuesday that he's "amazed" by the richness of India's history and "there is a pride in being Indian". "I've been to other countries...(but) it's different in India...there is a sense of infinite possibilities...new skylines to be raised and lives to be enriched," Vance stated.
