Amazon asks managers to hide performance-improvement plans: Report

Amazon instructs its managers not to let employees know when they are put on a formal performance-management plan called Focus, unless an employee explicitly asks, The Seattle Times reported. Few current and former Amazon employees have said they found out they were in Focus by accident. Managers are asked to tell employees that their performance is not meeting expectations.
