US e-commerce giant Amazon has begun a monthslong cost-cutting review focused on unprofitable business units, The Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday. Employees in certain unprofitable divisions have been told to look for jobs elsewhere in the company as the teams they were working in were being suspended or closed. Notably, Amazon's stock is down about 45% year to date.
