Jeff Bezos-led Amazon on Wednesday announced it is buying Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) Studios, the US movie studio behind the James Bond franchise, for $8.45 billion. MGM's library has over 4,000 film titles and over 17,000 TV shows including 'Tomb Raider' and 'Shark Tank' among others. This is Amazon's second-largest acquisition after it bought Whole Foods for nearly $14 billion in 2017.
