Amazon recently began warning shoppers who use Honey, a browser extension that automatically finds and applies coupon codes at checkout and tracks prices, labelling it as a "security risk". Honey was recently acquired by PayPal for $4 billion. Amazon warned, "Honey tracks your private shopping behaviour, collects data like...order history...can read or change your data on any website you visit."
