Amazon has trimmed its workforce across Kindle and its book review site, Goodreads. The decision to eliminate "a small number of roles" within the Books organisation is part of the firm's ongoing work to make teams and programs operate "more efficiently" under the business roadmap, a company official said. Less than 100 employees were impacted due to the job cuts.
