Amazon has said that its facial recognition technology can now detect fear in people's faces. This makes it the eighth emotion it can identify along with happiness, sadness, anger, surprise, disgust, calmness and confusion. Amazon added that the age range estimation accuracy has been improved to get narrower age ranges across most age groups.
