The Centre told the Delhi High Court that e-commerce companies including Amazon, Flipkart and Snapdeal have to ensure that country of origin is displayed on imported products. It added that the implementation of the order is the responsibility of the states and union territories. Meanwhile, Amazon India has asked sellers to show 'country of origin' on products by August 10.
