Amazon Web Services has raised prices for EC2 Capacity Blocks for ML, a service that lets customers reserve GPU-powered computing capacity in advance. Widely used by major AI developers for training and fine-tuning models, the service will see hourly rates increase by about 20% starting in July, adding to the rising costs of building and deploying advanced AI systems.
