Amazon internally named Prime cancellation process after Homer's 'Iliad' poem: FTC

In its lawsuit against Amazon, the US FTC stated that the company internally used the term 'Iliad Flow', referring to Homer's epic poem about the lengthy Trojan War, in situations when a consumer wanted to end their Prime subscription. FTC's lawsuit described the 'Iliad Flow' as "Prime's four-page, six-click, 15-option process" because it takes that many steps to cancel.
