Amazon is planning to foray into insurance services in India, the e-commerce giant has confirmed. The company said it aims to carry out the business of soliciting, procuring and servicing insurance as a corporate agent, according to its filings. However, Amazon is yet to seek an approval from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India, according to reports.
