Future Retail told the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) last year that Amazon sought $40 million from it in exchange for its “disputed transaction" with Reliance to go ahead, reported TOI. Amazon, which owns a 49% stake in Future Group company Future Coupons has challenged the ₹24,713-crore Future-Reliance Retail deal, claiming it did not consent to such a transaction.
