Amazon executive Mike Hopkins, in an internal note on Wednesday, announced the company's decision to cut "several hundred roles" across its Prime Video and MGM Studios divisions. "We've identified opportunities to reduce or discontinue investments in certain areas," Hopkins said. Earlier in the day, Amazon-owned Twitch's CEO Dan Clancy said the company will lay off over 500 employees.
