Amazon has announced another round of layoffs affecting 14,000 managerial positions, aiming to save between $2.1 billion and $3.6 billion annually, Financial Times reported. This 13% reduction in its global management workforce will bring the number of managers down to 91,936. The job cuts will reportedly affect divisions including Amazon Web Services (AWS), retail operations, and human resources.
