Amazon has said it will shut its Chinese marketplace business by July 18 as it shifts focus to offering mainland consumers overseas products rather than goods from local sellers. The US e-commerce giant will continue running businesses including Amazon Web Services and Kindle e-books in China. "We are working closely with sellers to ensure a smooth transition," the company said.
