Amazon has unveiled a new AI-powered robot that can understand and respond to human-language commands. The next-generation Proteus robot, expected to be launched in the first half of 2027, is designed for heavy lifting and warehouse operations. The current Proteus, deployed at 25 US facilities, operates in dock areas and can move carts weighing up to nearly 400 kgs.
