Amazon is yet to submit a self-declaration stating it has complied with the Indian government's guidelines on dark pattern usage, even as 26 leading e-commerce platforms have completed the process, Moneycontrol reported. A senior government official said Amazon has been seeking more time. The official added that the government may take punitive action against Amazon if consumer complaints persist.
