Amazon's audiobook service Audible said it removed its app from the Apple store in China last month "due to permit requirements". Developers of several Quran and Bible reading apps also claim their apps have been removed from Apple store at Chinese government's request. "Development of Internet in China must comply with Chinese laws," spokesperson of Chinese Embassy in US said.
