Amazon is planning to phase out its Just Walk Out technology for its Amazon Fresh stores. It claimed to use AI for its checkouts, but reports have emerged that 1000 Indians worked behind the scenes to manually verify transactions. One report stated that 70% of all visits were verified. Even Alexa had thousands of contractors listening in to commands.
