A statue of Dr BR Ambedkar was uprooted and thrown into a canal in a village in UP's Ganganagar, leading to tensions in the area. The statue, located on a disputed access path through farmland, had been a point of contention among locals, the police said on Monday. Reportedly, miscreants removed the statue and chucked it into a canal.
