Ambuja Cements to invest ₹14,500 cr, add 30 MTPA capacity

Ambuja Cements has announced a ₹14,500 crore expansion to add ~30 MTPA of cement capacity across eastern, western, and northern India. The plan will raise total capacity to 155 MTPA by FY30 from 113.5 MTPA. New units are planned in Assam, Jharkhand, Bihar, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh. The company also targets a cost of ₹4,000 PMT by FY28.
