American Cancer Society recommends colon cancer screening from 45

The American Cancer Society has raised concern over the rising number of colorectal cancer cases in youngsters, urging people to begin regular screening at age 45. Once considered a disease of older individuals, colorectal cancer is now increasingly being diagnosed in people under 50. Early screening through colonoscopy or stool-based tests can detect precancerous growths and improve survival.
